For the first time, players can explore a growing library of community-made 3D jigsaw puzzles directly through Steam Workshop. From unique real-world captures to creative custom 3D models, the Workshop expands Puzzling Places beyond its curated puzzle collection and gives players an entirely new way to experience the game.
While the PuzzleMaker creation tools remain in closed beta, creators are already working on new puzzles and helping test the creation, publishing, and sharing workflow. The team will continue expanding access to PuzzleMaker before its full release, with the goal of putting creation tools into the hands of the wider community.
Originally known for its handcrafted miniature dioramas built from photogrammetry scans, Puzzling Places has always focused on bringing real-world locations and experiences to players. With the Steam Workshop, that vision expands into a community-driven platform where new puzzles can be created, shared, and enjoyed by players around the world.
