Pompeii: The Legacy Marks One Month in Early Access with Its First Major Update

After a successful first month on Steam, Pompeii: The Legacy, a historical city builder developed by a single creator, marks a major milestone with its first major update and a 20% discount to celebrate the occasion.

Since its Early Access release in September, the game has received an overwhelmingly positive response from players, holding an 85% positive rating and a strong average playtime. Built on a custom in-house engine, Pompeii: The Legacy continues to evolve through four planned Early Access milestones, with this update representing the first major step forward.

The latest update introduces five new buildings, Pozzolan Mine, Academy, Basilica, Jewelry Shop, and Circus , alongside numerous gameplay improvements, fixes, and optimizations.
Performance has also been improved through optimized models and textures, resulting in faster loading times and smoother late-game performance.

Over the past month, Pompeii: The Legacy has also seen the addition of several new systems, including Events, Ship Trade Paths, Steam Achievements, and Trading Cards, giving players more depth, variety, and rewards for their progress.
