Tokyo, Japan — Polyscape Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hiroki Shimada) today announced NAMAKORIUM, a new indie title where players command the ocean’s “clean-up crew,” the Namakos, in a chaotic co-op real-time strategy game for up to four players. The game is planned to launch in Early Access on Steam in January 2026. Alongside today’s reveal, Polyscape released the first trailer and opened wishlisting.
As the first step in a series of celebratory events, Polyscape is also running a limited-time sale on its debut title MISTROGUE—a real-time 3D roguelite action game—offering 70% off, the largest discount since release. The promotion runs August 19 (Tue)–August 26 (Tue), 2025 (JST).

About the Game
Humanity’s rapid progress left deep scars—environmental destruction, extreme weather, and warming seas. In one not-too-distant future, severe marine pollution wipes out countless species and even humanity itself. In the midst of this ruin, a lifeform awakens from cold sleep: the Namako, once known as the ocean’s tireless cleaner.
NAMAKORIUM is a chaotic, cooperative multiplayer RTS for up to four players. Command the "sea cleaners"—Namakos (sea cucumbers) left behind by humanity—and clean up the polluted oceans! Whether the ocean is restored comes down to your planning, your team, and your Namakos. Dive into a frantic, plan-first ocean cleanup operation!

Command unique Namakos, gather resources, construct buildings, and clear paths—the tasks are many and time is short. Purify all the pollution before the food runs out! Will your strategy hold up under pressure and succeed with the team?
Unique Namakos with Special Traits
Shell Namako gathers limestone. Iron Namako is great at mining. Flame Namako and Ice Namako can survive extreme temperatures. Use their distinct abilities to assign roles and conquer each stage together!
Restore the Ocean’s Beauty
As you decontaminate, corals bloom, sunlight shines through, and the ocean regains vibrant color. Over 40 types of "Scenic Creatures" will begin to swim in—try to collect them all as you heal the seas!
Beware the “Blight Namako”!
During cleanup, corrupted Namako known as "Blight Namako" may suddenly appear. They rot your food and drag the ocean back into darkness. Team up and repel them with the mighty Namako Fusion Cannon!
