October 15, 2025 — After recently being selected as one of the top three indie games at the Brasil Game Show 2025, gamers everywhere will soon have the chance to try an early version of Last Flag during an open playtest on October 17 & 18.
Last Flag Open Playtest Hours:
Start: Friday, October 17 at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 7pm CEST
End: Saturday, October 18 at 10pm PDT / 1am EDT / 7am CEST (Oct 19)
Players can enjoy an early look at the game’s stylish universe and its unique take on the beloved capture the flag formula during this limited time open playtest that players won't want to miss.
Developed by Night Street Games, an indie game studio founded by Mac and Dan Reynolds—manager and lead singer of the band Imagine Dragons, respectively—Last Flag is a fun-first team shooter set in the world’s most popular televised game show, where five-member squads fight to capture the flag hidden by the opposing team, return the flag to their base, and defend it for one minute to win.
Bring the Noise with Roadie (and more!)
Players will choose between a larger-than-life cast of contestant characters, each with unique playstyles and abilities. With his arm-mounted grenade launcher at the ready, this playtest will feature Roadie, the latest contestant to join the cast of Last Flag. Whether players prefer sniping enemies from afar as Masako, the heavy metal archer, or getting up close and personal as Peter, the axe-swinging lumberjack, everyone should have fun discovering a character that best suits their style and provides them with the opportunity to try out a variety of fun and innovative tactics.
Since being featured in Steam’s Third-Person Shooter Fest, the Night Street Team has been hard at work adding new features and improvements to the game, including significant updates to the in-game HUD, more robust controller support, all-new art, improved sound effects, and more.
To get in on the action this weekend, download Last Flag from the game's Steam page.
