QUALICUM BEACH, Canada – April 13, 2023 — Veteran developer of virtual reality (VR) games, Cloudhead Games (www.CloudheadGames.com) has announced that Pistol Mix, the official modding tool for their bestselling Physical Action-Rhythm game Pistol Whip, will be officially released on May 31, 2023. Additionally, the modding community is invited to the Open Beta for the tool, which begins today.

From new reimaginings of iconic game experiences, to sheer meme madness, the ability to mod VR games has become a beloved backbone of the community. The team at Cloudhead Games is thrilled to throw open the doors to the VR modding community, inviting them to remix this classic game to their own unique beat, and create the Scenes of their dreams.
The Pistol Mix Open Beta also opens today, and offers early-adopters the chance to get their hands on the tool and help shape its growth. Interested PC VR modders will be able to download the tool via the official Cloudhead Games Discord server (pistolwhip.gg) or the player-favourite platform, mod.io.
Mod.io will also become the official hub for custom Scenes; as of the full release on May 31, players will be able to browse and select Pistol Mix “Remixes” via the Pistol Whip mod.io page, or directly in-headset.
