The hunt has returned but this time, with axes, longships, and Norse mythology-level drama. The developers of the multiplayer deception hit West Hunt are excited to announce the launch of a brand-new devlog video series for North Hunt, the Viking-era sequel that evolves the same hilarious chaos into a colder, sharper, and more strategic battlefield.
In North Hunt, players enter bustling Norse villages where they must complete covert objectives while hiding in plain sight. But there's a twist: human players are hiding among NPCs and others are trying to sniff them out before the deception goes too far.
This time, it’s Chiefs vs. Thieves, a deadly game of trust, disguise, and strategy.
North Hunt Devlog #1 | Viking Sequel to West Hunt – Gameplay Reveal & New Features
The devlog will give players their first behind-the-scenes look at how North Hunt is evolving; revealing exclusive gameplay footage, new features, and development insights.
What players can Expect:
- Chief vs. Thief Gameplay Reveal: At its heart, North Hunt keeps the thrilling tension players loved: one must blend in, while the other hunts them down. Now reimagined as the Chief and the Thief
- Overhauled Movement & Animation: Characters feel snappier, smoother, and more alive than ever before. Stealth and chaos come to life through fluid gameplay.
- Class-Based Gameplay: Players can now choose from multiple roles, each with powerful abilities to disguise, deceive, trap, or escape. Every match plays out differently depending on class choice.
- Revamped UI & Matchmaking: Faster lobbies, slicker menus, and new tools designed to get players into the action quickly, with far less waiting around.
- Same Chaos, Viking Twist: The humor and unpredictability of West Hunt remain, now set in snow-covered villages filled with Norse flavor.

North Hunt is currently in development for PC and now live on Steam for wishlisting. Fans of West Hunt will find a new favorite in North Hunt.
