No Sequels Cooperative launches a Kickstarter campaign for Embroideryvania: the first 2-player metroidvania.

No Sequels Cooperative is excited to announce the launch of its Kickstarter campaign for Embroideryvania, a groundbreaking new game you can BYONG to (bring your own non-gamer). This cozy no-combat metroidvania adventure invites players into a whimsical embroidered-style world where casual game exploration and real-life chill connection meet.

In Embroideryvania, players step into the shells of snails exploring a hand-stitched botanical park. Together, they’ll solve seed-based navigation puzzles, discover unique shellpacks, and even learn to identify real plants while uncovering the park’s cozy mysteries. With its unique art style, original soundtrack, and emphasis on the shared gaming-on-the-couch experience, Embroideryvania is unlike anything else in the genre.

“We’re building a game that’s cozy, quirky, and made to be someone’s first game,” said Joanna Antigone Nastos, CEO and producer.

The Kickstarter campaign will support development, help fund additional polish, and give backers the chance to be part of the creative journey through exclusive rewards.

The demo is published on Steam and offers a snapshot playthrough showcasing the game’s cozy, diverse, hand-drawn world, no-combat game mechanics, unique shellpack collection, and the newly revealed original soundtrack.
