Today, at the OTK Winter Expo, independent studio Spellfusion is thrilled to unveil the first official gameplay trailer and launch the public Co-Op demo of Nether Spirits: Beyond the Gate: a bold new fusion of deck-building, roguelite progression, and multiplayer action set within a dark, atmospheric afterlife.
In Nether Spirits, players are reborn in the corrupted realm known as the Nether. Choosing from seven distinct classes, each inspired by the seven deadly sins, players must master their abilities and face the trials that lie inside the Nether.
Whether venturing solo, joining forces in drop-in/drop-out co-op, or testing skill in 1v1 and 2v2 PvP battles, Nether Spirits offers a wide range of ways to play: combining strategic depth with fast-paced action and endless replayability.
Combat in Nether Spirits revolves around the innovative Timeline System. Players can queue, chain, and modify their card plays in real-time, allowing for on-the-fly adaptation and devastating combos.
Starting today, the Nether Spirits Co-Op demo is available on Steam, offering an early look at its core mechanics, roguelite runs, and PvP battles. Players can experience the first taste of the Nether and help shape development ahead of the game’s full release.
