Hangzhou, China — February 5, 2026 — today, NetEase Games unveiled a new trailer for Sea of Remnants, the ocean-fantasy open-world RPG developed by Joker Studio, launching PlayStation®5, Steam and PC (Windows) in 2026.
In this game, players assume the role of a puppetfolk sailor adrift without memories, who must navigate treacherous seas, battle bizarre monsters, customize their fleet, and form bonds with over 400+ companions – all while shaping the ever-evolving pirate city of Orbtopia through impactful choices.

The new trailer offers a peek at the perils of pirate life and the lengths an adventurer must go to, to safely secure their treasure, by introducing one of the game’s main characters, the eccentric “R.S”.
"Adventurer" R.S is a ‘Damage Over Time’ character. She can deploy the "Surprise Pony" bomb to strike the enemy team comprehensively. As the main story progresses, players will set sail on an adventure with her to search for mythical treasures.
The trailer release was timed with the launch of the Wanderer Test, a small-scale Closed Alpha, which runs from today until February 12th.
