NET.CRAWL is a turn-based deckbuilding roguelite set in a bizarre digital world. It uses hexes instead of cards and has a strong focus on encounters with unique mini-bosses (aka Cores).

About the game
NET.CRAWL exists at the intersection of puzzle and card-based gameplay. Each move, players activate a hex (similar to playing a card in a card-based roguelike), which not only triggers a game effect but also moves the Avatar on the board. As the Avatar moves, the available hexes change, adding an extra layer of strategy to every decision.
What makes NET.CRAWL unique is a concept of a Core - essentially a mini-boss that has a very strong effect or adds a unique victory condition.
Examples of these Cores include:
* Plotter loses strength every time the Avatar moves in a straight line;
* Equilibrum loses strength when 2 of the particular game’s stats are equal;
* At the end of a turn Amber hides from the player among unrevealed hexes;
* Motion Sensor increases Firewall every time you move.
There will be over 60 different Cores in the final release, with 30 already available in the current playtest.
NET.CRAWL takes place in a post-human digital world filled with playful references to modern IT memes and concepts. Rather than focusing on hacking or corporate espionage, it presents a whimsical cybernetic fairyland where technological “magic” runs rampant.
