May 18, 2023 - Nuverse today announced the second closed beta test for Dragonheir: Silent Gods, the upcoming multiverse RPG inspired by classic Dungeons & Dragons adventures. The test, which will be non-wipe with a paid in-game store system, will be available in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia , Ukraine and Thailand starting May 24 on PC and Android.
Dragonheir: Silent Gods is a stunning open-world high-fantasy strategy RPG that takes players on an epic journey where they can discover a rich and dynamic world with high-quality character models, realistic weather effects, and diverse exploration possibilities that include character customization options and branching storylines.
Dragonheir: Silent Gods is set in a high fantasy world inhabited by dwarves, dragons and magic. The game invites players to transform into a hero tasked with assembling a group of adventurers to fight for glory and unite the realms. Players will venture into forgotten lands and overcome mighty foes in complex and gripping combat. Dragonheir: Silent Gods combines strategic combat with aspects of traditional tabletop style gaming, where players can combine various champion abilities and skills to topple even the strongest foes or beasts in groups of up to four characters.
Dragonheir: Silent Gods features non-linear exploration and rich storytelling, where every player’s story is full of twists and turns as fate rests on the roll of the dice, with enemy NPCs and adventurers always on the lookout for trouble.
Since the first Closed Beta Test in December, there have been several updates made to the game that will certainly excite fans, including:
- High-quality artistic resources with upgraded cutscene animation effects, high-precision character models and iterative world terrain and weather
- An enhanced exploration experience that emphasizes freedom with a new character customization system, new special skills that include more playable details and operations in the world, a multi-linear storyline with multi-branch tasks and the opportunity for players to choose affecting NPC endings such as stealing, robbing and dialogue
- Combat features that emphasize strategy with semi-real-time gameplay + elements strategy + grid placement + dice checking, more high quality heroes with enhanced variety, new bosses including Purple Dragon, Poseidon and Fate's Child as well as a new player-versus-player combat arena
- Players can create Alliances on the continent or join one already created. Players can complete weekly quests in the Alliance to gain Alliance Experience and silver pieces, which you can use to redeem rewards in the Alliance Shop.
It was also announced that on the incredible Apple silicon Mac lineup, Dragonheir: Silent Gods is native on Mac and takes full advantage of Metal — software that powers hardware-accelerated graphics on Apple platforms — resulting in smooth and responsive gameplay with high frame rates and stunning visuals. Leveraging technology, such as Metal FX Upscaling, Variable Refresh Rate, and Spatial Audio, players will experience enhanced graphics and a more immersive audio experience.
In addition, the game will support both keyboard and mouse input for all PC players, allowing them to choose their preferred way of playing the game.
