The viral mountainside builder Laysara: Summit Kingdom has been announced for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Series X|S, and PlayStation 4 & 5, in partnership with Czech publishers and co-developers Nejcraft. The console release will coincide with the 1.0 launch on PC via Steam, and all releases are coming soon.
The full game launch on all platforms will include a brand new 15-mission Campaign for the first time, as well as many quality-of-life improvements from the Steam Early Access version.
About the game:
Laysara: Summit Kingdom is a challenging city builder focusing on resource management, the economy and surviving despite the inhospitable environment. Build and expand your settlements in the high mountains in either a campaign or sandbox playthrough.
Carefully plan your production chains, trade networks and avalanche survival strategies to satisfy the needs of your citizens (and yaks) and make the Kingdom of Laysara thrive!
Laysara is currently in Early Access and will launch in 1.0 and across all major consoles soon!
Full Game features:
-
Build on a mountain. Each mountain offers a unique set of challenges; different shapes, vegetation zone layouts, resource availability and weather conditions.
-
Deal with avalanches. Nature cannot be stopped. Plan and strategise to deal with avalanches, or watch your city be buried and devastated.
-
Craft a transport network. Transporting becomes a challenge across mountain summits, but there may be opportunities to optimise your production networks across the ridges, canyons and rivers. Glamorous yaks are always available.
-
Raise a Summit Temple. Build your way up the mountain, establish a grand temple at the peak, and triumph over the elements.
-
Play your way: Choose from 5 different game modes, whether you want to dig into the story of Laysara across the 15 mission Campaign, test yourself in Challenge mode, or chill and relax in Free Build mode.
About Quite OK Games:
Quite OK Games is a team of three developers who decided that working on other people’s games wasn’t fun anymore. Making your own project isn’t that much different from a regular job at a game development company, right? What could possibly go wrong?
Quite OK Games was formed at the beginning of 2021 to start working on its debut title, Laysara: Summit Kingdom.
