Make Songs From 8-Second Cards: LASSEN’S LOOP Launches Free Demo at Steam Next Fest Ahead of July 1 Release

TNB Games’ cozy music studio lets anyone make songs by layering cards composed by real musicians. No AI used, you own the rights to every track you make!

Phoenix, AZ (June 15, 2026) — TNB Games announced today that Lassen’s Loop, its cozy music-maker, is officially part of Steam Next Fest (June 15-22). The free, playable demo gives music lovers the opportunity to build a track of their own ahead of the game’s launch on July 1, 2026 for Steam (PC, Mac), iOS, and Android.
More than an app, more than a game, Lassen's Loop is the perfect throwback studio for anyone who's ever wanted to make a song — no music theory or DAW knowledge required. Build tracks from 3,500+ 8-second clip cards composed by real, credited musicians, spanning genres from K-pop and trance to hip-hop, metal, slow jazz, and more. Drag, drop, layer, and remix, then export your song as an MP3 that's yours to keep and own the rights to, forever!

Lassen’s Loop was created in tribute to composer, producer, and sound designer Justin Lassen (1981-2021), whose work across music, film, and games included collaborations with Nine Inch Nails, Linkin Park, and Madonna.

"Lassen's Loop is a tribute to my friend Justin Lassen, composer and creator of many remixes as well as synthesizer instruments. This kind of 'bring it to the masses' approach to music making is exactly the sort of thing that Justin would have been all over,” said Jake Simpson, founder of TNB Games. “I'm excited for gamers to be able to jump in and start making music with the Lassen's Loop demo in Steam Next Fest, and eager to hear what kind of tracks they create!"
