Machine Party Sells Over 500,000 Copies In Its First Week, Reaching 20,000 Concurrent Players

August 18, 2026 - Developers Mike Klubnika and GDeavid, together with publisher Oro Interactive, are happy to share that Machine Party has sold over 500,000 copies on Steam in its first week. The multiplayer party game has reached over 20,000 daily concurrent players and found a particularly large audience in China.

A Different Take on Party Games

Machine Party takes familiar party game ideas and gives them a darker twist. Across 15 different minigames, players compete in various challenges that test quick reactions, decision-making, and the ability to stay alive until the end.

Players might find themselves stuffing their face with peas against a timer, escaping deadly traps, or trying to outlast their opponents in ridiculous challenges. Each game brings its own ridiculous scenario where every player is fighting to be the last one standing.

From Buckshot Roulette to Machine Party

Following the success of Buckshot Roulette, creator Mike Klubnika teamed up with GDeavid to create a new multiplayer game. Machine Party brings the unique industrial style players know from Klubnika’s games, turning familiar party game ideas into absurd and dangerous multiplayer challenges.

Since launch, Machine Party has spread quickly through creator coverage, streams, and social media. Players have been sharing clips from the game’s collection of minigames, helping it reach new audiences worldwide. The game has been especially successful in China, where it has continued to grow through word of mouth and creator content.

What’s Next for Machine Party

Following the successful launch, the developers will continue working on smaller improvements and bug fixes to keep the experience running smoothly. A Couch Co-op mode is also planned for the coming weeks, giving players another way to play Machine Party together.

Machine Party is available now on Steam for 7.99 EUR / USD, with a 15% launch discount available until August 13th.
