Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced that the second character DLC for BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is now available, introducing master swordsman and healer Retsu Unohana to the roster. This marks the second fan-favorite character to be added to the game since its launch earlier this year. Players who own or purchase the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or the individual Season Pass will automatically gain access to the new content. BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is available now on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam®. For more information, visit the official website.

Captain of squad 4, Retsu Unohana is a substitute soul reaper belonging to the Soul Society world. Her addition to the BLEACH Rebirth of Souls roster in the new DLC provides players with a relentless offense that hides immeasurable pressure through her signature and spiritual moves. Unohana’s signature move, “Iai,” is a technique where she draws her sword and slashes forward, with follow-up attacks dealing massive damage to the opponent. Her spiritual move, “Hado 33: Sokatsui / Living Blade,” involves a technique where she steps forward and strikes with the sheath, with her follow-up attack dealing extra damage. Her second spiritual pressure move, “Kaido / Zanjutsu Basics,” allows Unohana to perform a counter and blow the opponent away by assuming a stance and receiving an opponent’s attack. Unohana can return the tide of the battle with her Awakening, which enhances her abilities by releasing Bankai “Minazuki.” In this enhanced state, her attacks improve, healing properties boost and damage is reduced, ultimately making her a powerhouse.
