FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Brasília, Brazil — September 13, 2026 — Independent developer Required Games today revealed Kill the Stream, an action roguelite where the end of the world is being broadcast live, and you're the entertainment.
Kill the Stream is an action roguelite for PC.
You're the one random person shoved into the Tower to climb it or watch Earth get deleted. Watching you the whole way are the Constellations, cosmic beings who tune into your run like it's their favorite show and refuse to stay quiet about it. Their reactions play out live in a chat you can see as you climb, commenting on your every move in real time. Some try to befriend you. Some appear just to insult you and leave. Win one over completely and they hand you their Contract, a signature power that's theirs alone.
Every doomed planet gets a Constellation to stream its final climb. Earth, small and unimportant, got ION, a small Constellation running his first broadcast in front of the big ones he's desperate to impress. Then he kills you by accident. Terrified they'll destroy him for the blunder, he panics and hacks Earth's system, forcing a forbidden power onto you: REGRESSOR. Now every time you die, you rewind time and come back, and ION's first show has quietly become a crime he has to keep hidden while you climb.
Features

- Build relationships with the Constellations, from full friendship to open hostility
- Fuse elements to create new powers and awaken stronger versions of every ability
