May 28, 2025 — This past weekend, global livestreaming platform KICK returned to the leading global gaming lifestyle festival DreamHack Dallas as a second-year headlining partner, powering the three-day event with a full slate of immersive activations, panels, meet & greets, and music performances. Throughout the day, creators BBJess, RazorRedd, and ThonggDelonge energized the crowd as official hosts at the KICK Stage (designed by graphic artists Stocks and Denny.) Thousands of festivalgoers stopped by to connect with their favorite streamers IRL, participate in gameplay, and meet the KICK staff. In the evenings, attendees enjoyed late night access to the KICK Stage from 6-10pm for KICK After Dark, which featured DJ sets from DJ Epic, DJIVREAL, and YesImJon.
KICK’s Friday activations launched with a Call of Duty 1v1 challenge in collaboration with Vegas Inferno, the Official Esports Team of Las Vegas. In the afternoon, KICK creator Dohmo presented an acrobatic sign spinning showdown, and fans lined up for meet & greets with ErectDictactor, ShortyPie, StrangelyLex, and Wittlebears. Festival attendees also competed in various KICK trivia games to win exclusive KICK merch, gaming accessories, and more.
Saturday opened with a DreamHack edition of KICK Talk hosted by KICK’s Co-Founder & CEO Ed Craven. Ed, who livestreamed from Melbourne, led an unfiltered conversation on advertising revenue in the livestreaming space alongside special guest and streamer Knut. Later on, festivalgoers packed out the KICK Stage for the KICK Road winners announcement. The campaign, which was certified by Streams Charts, culminated with 3.98M Total Hours Watched, and creator PrimeTime was awarded the $20,000 grand prize. Additional Saturday highlights included: KICK and Anthros joining forces to take over the DreamHack Creator Hub with gamer BobbyPoff front and center playing Call of Duty with some of KICK’s top COD streamers; meet & greets with Ac7ionMan, BigE, and Sgt_Jackson12; and an industry panel on multistreaming with Ryan Wilson (Partner Manager, KICK), Joel Clay (Founder/CEO, Meld Studio), and Tiffany King (Marketing Director, Meld Studio). KICK streamers and music artists DubzMusic and Uhmaayyze capped the night with a high-octane hip-hop performance on the Main Stage.
On Sunday, streamers Novacourt and DBLduty participated in the Parent, Creator, Both Q&A discussing how they balance parenting with being full-time content creators. Additionally, Andrew Santamaria (Head of KICK Studios) hosted an Ask Me Anything Q&A session covering everything from how to be featured on KICK’s Front Page to claiming a specific KICK username. KICK’s massive presence at DreamHack Dallas closed on a high note with a lively meet & greet with MMA fighter Brandon Moreno.
