Cambridge, UK – UNDER EMBARGO: Friday August 13th 2021 – Leading UK living games publisher and developer Jagex has today released two new multi-format albums featuring music from its iconic Runescape franchise. In partnership with Laced Records, both RuneScape: God Wars Dungeon and RuneScape: Old School Combat Classics are now available as individual soundtrack albums on CD and vinyl and digitally for fans of the RuneScape franchise to enjoy.
The RuneScape: God Wars Dungeon release boasts 11 tracks from the two classic high-level dungeons. Pressed on two 180g turquoise blue and purple patterned discs, the vinyl edition also features artwork of the four God Wars Generals.
For those looking for a more “Old School” sound, RuneScape: Old School Combat Classics includes 18 tracks from Old School RuneScape, ranging from themes from across the most iconic locations and dungeons in Gielinor, to specific quest, minigame, and boss encounters. Available as a double CD and vinyl set, the double LP edition is pressed on two 180g red-and-orange patterned discs and features unique artwork of iconic in-game characters and weaponry.

RuneScape currently holds the Guinness World Record for the most original pieces of music in a video game, with well over a thousand tracks featured in the game, a figure which continues to grow as Jagex continues to add content to both its RuneScape and Old School RuneScape games. Further digital releases are planned for 2021 and beyond, celebrating new in-game content including RuneScape's Elder God Wars Dungeon storyline.
The two vinyl and CD releases are available from the Laced Records online store, the RuneScape Merchandise Store, Amazon UK/US, Vinyl Specialists, and select local record stores. Both albums are also available on all leading streaming platforms and digital music retailers, alongside 11 other RuneScape albums from Archaeology to Original Soundtrack Classics.
