JUST ANNOUNCED: Jaggy Snake Game’s 16-bit Adventure Questing Comes to Linux, Demo Available Soon

October 8, 2025 - Jaggy Snake Games announced today that fans of 16-bit adventures such as Chrono Trigger and A Link to the Past will soon be able to enjoy the demo for Questing (Steam page) on Linux.

The demo for Questing is currently available to play on Windows (Impress Press Kit).

The Jaggy Snake Games Team Grows

In addition to the Linux version getting announced, Jaggy Snake Games wants to shout out its new Producer, Alessandro Brillo. 

"Bringing in our new Producer, Alessandro, feels like the final piece of the puzzle, and we're proceeding full speed ahead with Questing's development. We're aiming to have at least one third of the game finished by the end of the year, and we're optimistic about meeting our targeted Q4 2026 release window,” said Ian Lynch, the Creative Director behind Questing.

They pride themselves on “making weird stuff and telling stories.” Their debut game Questing is due to release sometime in Q4 2026 on PC via Steam. Jaggy Snake Games is made up of one solo developer, Ian Lynch, who has recently hired Scotland-based Alessandro Brillo to keep the project on time as producer.
