Monday, 9th June 2025 (MILAN, Italy): Independent studio 3DClouds has released the first playable public demo for their multi-era spanning sim-cade racing game, Formula Legends, exclusively via Steam as part of Steam Next Fest.
The launch of the demo was twinned with the premiere of The Future Games Show Summer Showcase which featured a brand new gameplay trailer for Formula Legends that showed off new cars from across the past 70 years of open-wheeled racing and tracks inspired by some of the most beloved venues across the globe.

Formula Legends is a behind-the-spoiler racing game that blends arcade accessibility with the strategic nuance found at the peak of competitive motorsport. Tyre-wear, fuel consumption, rubbering in of racing lines, damage simulation and changeable weather are just some of the elements that make the moment-to-moment racing of Formula Legends challenging, unpredictable and fun.
This exciting racer is being developed for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S | X, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC platforms (Steam, GoG, Epic Games Store) and will launch later this year. However PC players will be able to sample a small slice of the game early via the Alpha demo, available now as part of Steam Next Fest (June 9th - 16th).
The demo features Belgium’s ‘Ardennes GP’ track with three different configurations (Vintage, Classic, Modern) as well as cars, drivers and teams playfully inspired by mid 70s, early 90s and modern eras. Each car possesses differing handling characteristics and challenge consistent with its era.
Players can compete in qualifying, races up to 10 laps and Time Trial mode featuring online leaderboard functionality. This small slice of Formula Legends features plenty of details fans of historic motorsport will love and at the same time provides an easy entry point for those who have always wanted to try racing games but have found modern releases too intimidating.
