BRASILIA, Brazil – June 4, 2026 – Hell Clock, the Exile-like and roguelike Action RPG from Rogue Snail and Mad Mushroom, will now launch on PlayStation 5 and XBox Series X|S on July 14, 2026. The game’s first major expansion, Cursed War, will drop on consoles and Steam on the same date.
Revealed during today’s Latin American Games Showcase, check out the new trailer to learn more about the new Skills coming in Cursed War: https://youtu.be/cUWtDLd_u6Y.
Originally announced with a June 2 launch date, the launch of the Hell Clock console edition and Cursed War expansion was shifted to avoid Path of Exile’s recent Return of the Ancients update.
Hell Clock combines ARPG depth and roguelike speed in a dark twist on real Brazilian history. Set in the late 19th century War of Canudos, players delve into the depths of Purgatory and Hell as Pajeu, venturing as far and as fast as they can while the Hell Clock ticks away. Cursed War brings players further into Pajeu and Brazil’s past, during the Paraguayan War of 1864 - 1870.
Players blast through hellish creatures and bosses floor by floor, equipped with Blessed Gear and wielding inhuman Skills. Unique Relics shape their builds in each roguelike run, taking advantage of powerful synergies to battle the demons of Brazil’s past, present, and future.
Hell Clock: Cursed War builds on the base game with:
-
New Story Act - Pajeu’s campaign in Paraguay adds an all-new Act to the Hell Clock campaign.
-
New Maps & Biomes to Explore - Fight through over 10 new environments, including Swamp, Blood River, and Campo Grande biomes.
-
More Powerful Builds - A slew of new Skills to create devastating builds around, and dozens of new Relics to optimize them.
-
Mettle-Testing Boss Fights - New areas include new bosses to take down, some of the most difficult yet faced in Hell Clock.
-
New Endgame Systems - Extend the adventure even further with new Endgame Systems to truly test your build: Endless Nightmares and the full version of Ascension.
-
Another Chance to Rewrite HistoryMore Brazilian History - Cursed War continues Hell Clock’s tradition of exploring one of the darker times in real Brazilian history, with a prequel story around Pajeu’s part in a dark fantasy version of the Paraguayan War.
