Prague, Czech Republic – September 24, 2025 – It’s officially underway! Two highly anticipated retro-inspired shooters, HMUR and Brotherhood, are currently featured as part of Boomstock 2025 – The Boomer Shooter Celebration, taking place on Steam until September 27, 2025.
This year’s edition of Boomstock brings together more than 170 games from over 150 developers and publishers, including Devolver Digital, New Blood Interactive, Apogee Entertainment, Hyperstrange, and many more. Fans are already enjoying brand-new announcements, adrenaline-fueled trailers, massive Steam discounts of up to 85%, exclusive competitions and giveaways, as well as in-game events across participating titles.
HMUR – Playtest Available Now
HMUR is a blistering ride of speed and chaos, inspired by the cult classics of the ’90s. Players can currently join the HMUR Playtest, experiencing the game first-hand while shaping its development with feedback.
As an added incentive, everyone who unlocks the special Steam achievement “HMURtastic!” during the Playtest will receive an exclusive Golden Pistol skin when the game fully launches.
Brotherhood – Demo Available Now
Brotherhood channels the raw spirit of the genre — a retro FPS inspired by Wolfenstein 3D where hesitation means death. Armed with nothing but a shotgun and sheer determination, players will battle relentless hordes in this pure, old-school experience.
A free demo of Brotherhood is live now on Steam as part of Boomstock 2025. The full game is scheduled to release on PC and consoles in November 2025, with the exact date to be revealed soon.
