HAALAND AND AITCH SETTLE THE MANCHESTER DERBY IN CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 4

Football superstar Erling Haaland and chart-topping rapper Aitch go head-to-head to become Manchester's Modern Warfare 4 champion

Ahead of the launch of Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 4 on Friday, October 23, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and Manchester rapper Aitch swap the stadium for the sofa, going head-to-head in an exclusive gaming showdown that brings one of the city's most famous divides into the world of Call of Duty.

The showdown is the latest installment of Call of Duty's Month of Grudge Matches, which sees rivals from across sport, entertainment and culture settle the score in Modern Warfare 4.

Few rivalries capture the spirit of Manchester quite like the divide between red and blue. With Haaland playing for one side and Aitch supporting the other, the pair bring years of local rivalry into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 in a battle to determine who will reign supreme.

Across two distinct challenges, Haaland and Aitch test everything from precision to movement, strategy and one-on-one combat.

The showdown begins in the Modern Warfare 4 Gunsmith and Firing Range, where both competitors get to grips with the game, test out a variety of weapons and compare notes on the strengths they think could give them an edge in the challenges ahead.

The rivalry then moves to the Mobility Course, with Haaland and Aitch racing against the clock across the same movement challenge. Speed, control and decision-making are put to the test as the pair attempt to master the course while watching, studying and trying to outdo one another.

Finally, the competition culminates in a best-of-five Gunfight showdown, with the pair squaring off across multiple Modern Warfare 4 maps in a winner-takes-all battle to determine who will be crowned King of Manchester and Modern Warfare 4 champion. Forced to adapt to changing loadouts, maps and tactics, Haaland and Aitch put their competitive instincts to the test in a head-to-head fight for city supremacy.

Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 4 Campaign and DMZ Early Access are available now ahead of the full game's launch on 23 October for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2 and PC.
