Graphic match analysis: Winning strategy in the Farming Simulator League

Erlangen, 15. April 2021

Shortly before the fifth tournament in the Farming Simulator League (FSL) next weekend, developer and organiser GIANTS Software presents the winning vehicle strategy of the previous tournament winner. In the final of the knockout elimination in March, Trelleborg used this tactic to defeat league rival Corteva Agriscience, putting them at the top of the table in the current FSL Season 3.

Choice, change and transfer

After the choice of vehicle and the desired modifications, the team competition begins: in the following 15 minutes, harvesting, pressing and delivery take place. The three teammates have to coordinate their actions and even provide vehicles for a fellow player. The grain is transferred from the harvester to a trailer and then transported to the silo, where it affects the bale modifier. The baler produces bales that are directly converted into points after delivery to the barn.

Depending on the game situation, randomly appearing "drops" at certain moments can significantly change the course of the match. In this example, the first drop collected increased the bale multiplier and the superdrop, which could only be activated by one team, immediately brought 20 bale points. Trelleborg was successful with their team strategy shown and won with a final score of 781 to 749 points.

Free E-Sports DLC available

Via the free Tournament Client for Season 3, every interested fan of the Farming Simulator can participate in the league after registration. The competition is based on the PC version of Farming Simulator 19 and requires teamwork and skill on a separate map in order to harvest grain, produce bales and deliver them to your own barn faster than the competing team.
