SEATTLE, WA., June 21st, 2022 -- Rose Tinted Games, indie game developer, announces their MMORPG Genfanad is entering its final week on Kickstarter. Having met its original funding goal of $10,000 in 6 hours, Rose Tinted Games is now focusing on meeting stretch funding goals of up to $25,000.
Genfanad was first created as a light-hearted homage to the classic MMORPGs of the Y2K era. Players start as peasants recruited to go on adventures on behalf of ruling entity Corporation for LICencing HEroes Inc (CLICHE Inc). The game offers serious players challenging adventures as well as providing casual players relaxed activities such as item crafting and gathering materials.
Genfanad is now on 2000 wishlists on Steam and participated in OTK's first Games Expo earlier in June. 2500 players have created in-game accounts with 3600 cumulative hours of gameplay during the alpha test.
After Genfanad's Kickstarter concludes, Rose Tinted Games will release a beta for Summer 2022. The full game will be available on Steam in Fall 2022.
