Game Music Festival (Wroclaw, 16-17 October 2020) is the third edition of Europe’s largest festival fully devoted to the music and sound of the gaming industry. The two-day event combined with an online transmission will take place in the National Forum of Music in Wroclaw, Poland – a world-class venue famous for its amazing acoustics. The music from famous games like Baldur’s Gate III (world live premiere), Divinity: Original Sin II, Transistor, Hades, Pyre, Bastion will be performed live in by the NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic orchestra with Cantores Minores Wratislavienses choir, the Sound Factory Orchestra, and soloists. The previous editions of Game Music Festival received much praise and were well acclaimed by fans and the game audio community. About Game Music Foundation:
We are a group of individuals passionate about the music of video games. Our team created gamemusic.net which has been one of the most active and comprehensive portals dedicated to game audio since 2006. We are based in Poland, but our mission spreads internationally. Our activities include soundtrack reviews, interviews with composers, organization of events, workshops, and discussion panels. We also run gamemusic records, a label releasing game music on vinyls, like Frostpunk or Heroes of Might & Magic.
