Activision Collection 1 is the latest addition to Evercade’s expanding lineup, with a curated mix of 15 classic titles from the golden era of gaming.

LETCHWORTH, UK: Blaze Entertainment is excited to announce Activision Collection 1, a must-have cartridge featuring 15 legendary 2600-era titles from one of the most influential developers in gaming history. This cartridge release, and the further two releases scheduled for 2026, highlight Activision’s pioneering role in shaping early home gaming, bringing together some of its most popular and innovative games to the Evercade physical cartridge ecosystem.
This first collection celebrates some of the most beloved and influential games of the early home console era, offering a mix of high-speed racing, intense action, platforming challenges, and unique arcade-style gameplay. Each title has been faithfully preserved, allowing players to experience them as they were meant to be played.
From the thrilling vine-swinging action of Pitfall! to the high-speed aerial combat of River Raid, and the strategic depth of Starmaster, this collection delivers a diverse range of gaming experiences. Racing fans will enjoy classics like Enduro and Grand Prix, while action lovers can test their reflexes in Megamania and Demon Attack.
This cartridge will be part of the red-coloured home console line and will be numbered #47. It will be available for £19.99, $29.99, and €24.99, releasing in November 2025.

●   Megamania – A space shooter where players battle waves of bizarre enemies.
●   Beamrider – A futuristic rail shooter challenging players to defend against alien threats.
●   Space Shuttle: A Journey Into Space – A highly realistic space simulation experience for its time.
●   Demon Attack – A challenging alien-blasting arcade shooter.
●   Fishing Derby – A unique two-player fishing competition.
●   Private Eye – A detective-based action-adventure featuring car chases and clue-solving.
●   Sky Jinks – A slalom-style aerial racing game.
●   Crackpots – A quirky arcade game where players defend against invading insects.
●   Grand Prix – A high-speed Formula 1-style racing experience.
●   Starmaster – A deep space combat simulator.
●   Tennis – One of the earliest representations of professional tennis in video game form.
●   Freeway – A fun and frantic game of getting chickens across the road.

This cartridge is compatible with all Evercade hardware, including past, present, and upcoming devices. It is also fully playable on HyperMegaTech! Super Pocket consoles, offering even more access to these classic games.

Evercade was first released in 2020 as a handheld device with ten gaming cartridges of classic console licenses. Since then, it has grown to several other hardware devices (listed below) and now has over 70 physical cartridge collections and more than 600 games across the entire ecosystem.

 
The Evercade EXP-R handheld gaming system is available globally and is available indivudially, bundled with a cartridge.

 
The Evercade VS-R home console system is currently available worldwide from Amazon and other local retailers. It is available bundled with a cartridge, or on its own with a controller included in each option.

 
The Evercade Alpha bartop arcade systems are available globally, and each come with 6 built-in Capcom games and competition-grade arcade controls, plus full compatibility with all Evercade cartridges. A new version with built-in TAITO games will be released in 2025.

 
Evercade devices play games via emulation on bespoke cartridges. These physical releases come in a classic clamshell case with a full-colour manual, custom written by Blaze with controls, hints and tips, and interesting facts about the titles and developers.

 
Evercade emulates a wide range of systems (including 8, 16, 32 and 64-bit console, handhelds, THEC64 and Amiga home computers, plus arcade games), as well as natively run games. It also highlights modern retro games created by indie developers, with support for five decades of gaming.

 
Evercade cartridges have three distinct colour schemes to highlight their content. Red-coloured boxes feature home console collections from multiple systems across five decades of gaming. Purple indicates Arcade game collections, and Blue is for home computer collections.

 
In 2023, Blaze Entertainment launched its new brand HyperMegaTech! to provide more retro gaming products aimed at a more casual market. Its first four products, the Super Pocket handheld gaming devices, also come with Evercade cartridge compatibility.
