Dying Light Platinum Edition Leaps onto Nintendo Switch

At gamescom, during the third episode of Dying 2 Know, Techland confirmed the release of the first Dying Light on Nintendo Switch

Wrocław, Poland — August 26, 2021 — Techland has officially confirmed that Dying Light will be released for Nintendo Switch as the Platinum Edition—the most content-packed and ultimate edition of the game.

During a special episode of Dying 2 Know prepared for gamescom, Lead Game Designer Tymon Smektała informed fans around the world they will be able to play the ultimate open-world zombie game on portable consoles together with their friends. The exact release date is not yet known.

A single playthrough of Dying Light Platinum Edition will provide fans with over 100 hours of single-player gameplay and countless additional adventures when playing with friends and exploring the world in co-op mode. The physical release of the Platinum Edition on Nintendo Switch will contain:

  • Switch game card with Dying Light
  • Survival guide - containing the most important tips & tricks on how to survive in the restricted zone
  • Two-sided map
  • Unique stickers
