The demo features the first 4 bosses of the casino tower, alongside an unrestricted pool of cards and lucky coins.
In Jack Pottwin: House of Odds, players climb a 10-story casino tower to escape a fever dream where boss characters are human addicts fused directly into casino machines.
Card play is resolved using a unique three-directional tactical deckbuilding system:
-
Left: Store a card in the Vault.
-
Right: Fuse a hand card with Vaulted cards. This real-time card crafting system merges values to create higher-value Jack, Queen, and King cards. Fusing full Poker Hands (Pairs, Full Houses, Straights) adds powerful combat traits like Lifesteal and Stun to the resulting card.
-
Up: Attack enemies, with overdamage carrying over to subsequent targets.
-
4 Boss Encounters: Test your strategies against the first 4 boss fights included in this public build.
-
Unrestricted Demo Content: The pool of available cards and Lucky Coins is not limited in this demo, giving players full access to experiment with different deckbuilding combinations.
-
In-Battle & Shop Card Crafting: Craft your deck both in and out of combat. Fuse cards in real-time during battle to create higher-value Jack, Queen, and King cards or fuse Poker Hands to add traits like Lifesteal and Stun.
Outside of battle, visit the Cashier Shop to buy, craft, and refine your deck further. -
Odds System: A dynamic Odds value influences route generation, shop quality, card rewards, and combat trigger chances.
-
Run Modifiers: Players can equip collectible Lucky Coins that alter core rules, such as persisting shields between battles or preventing lethal damage.
-
Contracts & Progression: Players manage their route by selecting path Contracts after defeating floor bosses.
-
Death Legacy: Upon a failed run, players can swap poker hand combos, carry over 3 cards, keep Tickets, or claim a random lucky coin to seed their next attempt.
