Deep-Sea Co-op Horror Hit ‘Murky Divers’ Launches Today on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with Full Cross-Play

Clean up Pharma Corps’ failed experiments with up to 8 players across consoles and PC in this chaotic, thalassophobia-inducing multiplayer experience.

Strasbourg, France - June 30, 2026 - Following a breakout run on PC with over 700,000 units sold on Steam, the underwater co-op horror sensation Murky Divers has officially launched on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with full cross-play integration.

In Murky Divers, players are cast as expendable recruits for Pharma Corps. Your directive? Dive to the deepest, most hazardous floors of the ocean to clear out the corpses and catastrophic evidence of your employer’s failed experiments.

Watch Your Oxygen, Hide the Evidence

Murky Divers blends intense proximity-chat horror with dark, comedic physics-based gameplay. Teams must coordinate closely to survive the crushing weight of the abyss and the terrors lurking within it.

Key features available now on consoles include:

  • Full Cross-Play Support: Team up seamlessly with crewmates across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
  • Up to 8-Player Chaotic Co-op: Choose your submarine size to fit your crew. Go solo, pilot a small sub with a friend, or gather up to 8 players for a high-stakes expedition.
  • Blind Submarine Navigation: Rely entirely on sonar, internal monitors, and frantic teamwork to pilot your submarine through pitch-black waters toward abandoned labs.
  • High-Stakes Looting & Shredding: Use your cart to navigate hazard-filled wrecks, extract dead bodies (or pieces of them), and bring them back to the sub to destroy them in the shredder before your oxygen runs out.
  • Proximity Voice Chat & Immersive 3D Audio: Hear your teammates' voices realistically fade into the distance, or cut out entirely right before a deep-sea horror strikes.
  • Weekly Challenge & Global Leaderboards: Test your sub-aquatic survival skills in weekly challenges and climb the global leaderboards.

Steam Achievements Arrive to Celebrate Console Launch

In tandem with the multi-platform console expansion, PC players have also received a major operational upgrade. To celebrate the milestone, long-awaited Steam Achievements have officially been integrated into the PC version of Murky Divers. Recruits on Steam can now unlock 18 distinct digital accolades tracking their corporate compliance, rewarding everything from surviving extreme atmospheric depths to efficiently handling team casualties in the ship's shredder.

Pricing and Availability

Murky Divers is available now digitally on the PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store for 9.99 USD, with adjusted regional pricing applied globally to reflect local markets.

Players can also look forward to a PlayStation 5 physical retail edition published by Maximum Entertainment. The PharmaCorps. Edition will release on July 21st at participating retailers across North America and Europe.
