On April 20th 2023, a brand new online idle RPG will launch on R2Games, entitled Dark Odyssey, set in a rich fantasy world. Players can join other adventurers to experience exhilarating combat, exploration, and questing that redefines what it means to have an epic adventure.
Breath-taking Gameplay
In a crowded RPG market, Dark Odyssey will distinguish itself through its gorgeous graphics and near-limitless challenges. Players' odysseys will take them through the darkest of dungeons where they'll discover innovative boss battles with unique mechanics, strengths, and weaknesses.
As players overcome these challenges, they'll level up their characters with new stats, rare equipment, and powerful new combat skills which can be deployed to change the face of the PvE battlefields or PvP arenas.
There is plenty of scope for customization. Players can choose distinctive outfits from the mythic armoury of heroes while also customizing the look of their mounts, pets, weapons, and wings.
Dark Odyssey is an idle RPG, meaning players can continue their epic journey even when offline. Players will return to their game to discover their characters have leveled up and grown in power – ready to take on the sinister challenges of a foreboding fantasy world. And there is good reason to level up, at level 80 players unlock "Character Enhancements" which will transform their characters into the most formidable heroes in all the realms of mortals and gods.
A New Spin on Greek Mythology
Dark Odyssey takes place in a land of heroes and deities. Though not all gods can be trusted and not all mortal men die. Players will need to forge alliances and companionships through guilds and socialization with fellow players from across the pantheon of gods.
Homer's Odyssey is a tale that has inspired storytellers for millennia. But players will experience it like never before in a world thrust into darkness and peril. The storyline combines the heroes of Greek myths with the foes of high-fantasy. Players set out from humble beginnings to confront the scourges of orc and evil that plague the lands.
As they grow in power and renown, legendary heroes will join their ranks as they amass a fellowship that is mythic in its own right. The journey will be long, it will be arduous, and it will be deeply rewarding.
