Gdynia, 22 November 2022: Dark Envoy is a love letter to classic tactical RPGs with a modern approach to combat. The newly released gameplay trailer recalls the studio’s legendary genre inspirations, showcases battle tactics, skill variety, and introduces the dark force that all players must face in this tale of destiny, set in a conflict-torn Guns N’ Sorcery world. The game is being developed and will be published by Event Horizon, the creators of an independent RPG gem, Tower of Time.

In Dark Envoy, you control a party of relic hunters wandering across the land of Jäan with their companions. The game combines a skill-based combat system built on classes and specializations with diverse tactical options of approaching your battles. You can complete the full story as a single player campaign, or enjoy it with a friend in a fully-fledged online co-op mode.  

 

Game features: 

  • Three modes of approaching battles: real-time, pause or slow time.

  • Four classes and over a dozen specializations.

  • Skills, supported by perks, loadouts, and synergies.

  • Expansive crafting featuring research and enchantment.

  • System of covers, traps, stone-walls to use the terrain to your advantage. 

  • Enemies that are not idiots ;)

 

The game is scheduled for release in 2023 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
