Cyberpunk sheep roguelite Ovis Loop launches today on Steam

Korea, August 15, 2025 - Indie team LIFUEL is excited to announce that Ovis Loop is out now on Steam. Take on the forces of evil led by Dr. Wolf and experience fluid, kinetic combat set against the backdrop of a gorgeous pixel art aesthetic. The roguelite transfixed players earlier this summer at Steam Next Fest, ranking amongst the top 50 most-played demos at the event. 

 

Hack enemies and transform your skills as you fight through waves of cyber wolves Dr. Wolf controls. No matter if it’s your first run or your fiftieth run, Ovis Loops keeps you locked in and coming back for more. With every defeat, you'll rise stronger, unlocking new paths and refining your approach, transforming failure into triumph.

 

Its retro-inspired pixel art brings to life a gritty cyberpunk world with multiple environments brimming with advanced technology and enemies to defeat.

 

The game's success at Steam Next Fest gave the LIFUEL team valuable insight into how to refine the Ovis Loop experience. A spokesperson for the LIFUEL team said: “We’ve been honoured to have so many Protectors jump into the Loop during our tests in the lead-up to launch. Whether positive or critical, this support and feedback have been instrumental in how we’ve continued with Ovis Loop’s development. We’re so excited that Ovis Loop is now open to the world!”
