Starting today, players can experience the world of public transport on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and take the driver’s seat themselves.
“The launch on console is a big step and a special moment for us,” says Ansgar Blauth, Managing Director at NPLAY Games. “Simulation games have an incredibly passionate community on PlayStation and Xbox, and we’re confident that CTS: Bus will inspire just as much excitement on consoles as it did on PC.”
The development team is also proud of the release: “Bringing the game to consoles was both a challenge and an exciting journey,” explains Daniel Buda, Managing Director at ViewApp. “We wanted to preserve the authentic CTS feeling while adapting the gameplay to make it feel instantly natural on PlayStation and Xbox.”
Authentic bus driving with unique features
City Transport Simulator: Bus stands out from classic driving simulations. The buses are officially licensed and feature authentic sounds, fully operable cockpits, and a custom-developed driving and articulation physics system that makes every trip feel realistic.
With the integrated line editor, players can create their own routes and name stops individually. The experience is complemented by AI-controlled trams and buses that make the city come alive.
Whether in sandbox mode with complete freedom or in career mode with progression and company management – CTS: Bus offers the right experience for every playstyle.
Available editions
City Transport Simulator: Bus is available in several editions. Players can choose between a Starter Edition, an expanded Gold Edition, and additional versions. Each edition includes officially licensed bus models, while the higher editions unlock additional vehicles that further enhance the gameplay experience.
