Chess × SRPG-inspired Strategy Board Game “Ludiger” Opens Steam Store Page and Begins Playtest

The indie game circle Liz-Arts has released the Steam store page for its digital board game “Ludiger” and launched a public playtest that anyone can join for free directly from the store page.

Described as a “Chess × SRPG-like strategy board game,” Ludiger challenges players to control their chips on a board and destroy the opponent’s base.

Each chip possesses unique HP and abilities, requiring players to devise tactical movements and strategies.

This new version refines the Windows-exclusive edition originally released in 2023, adding Steam’s online ranking features. The game now supports both Windows and Mac, and introduces achievements as well as
an Elo-based ranking system.

In addition to the Online Battle mode that allows players to compete against others worldwide, the game also offers a CPU Battle mode for solo play and a One-Board Battle mode where two players can face off
on a single screen. Fans of SRPGs and strategy games will find deep, rewarding tactical gameplay.
