Kyiv, Ukraine / Berlin, Germany – May 19, 2026 – Crunchy Leaf Games today announced a publishing partnership with Ukrainian studio Twigames Inc. for Hollow Home, a narrative survival RPG set during the siege of Mariupol. The game will release on PC via Steam in 2026.
In Hollow Home, players take on the role of Maksym, a 14-year-old boy surviving 25 days of the siege beginning February 24, 2022. There are no weapons and no battles. Just a teenager trying to stay alive as the world he knew falls apart. The game focuses on the emotional and psychological toll of war on civilians, not on graphic violence.
Players explore the city and its surroundings, scavenging for supplies, helping those they can, and facing tough choices. As shelling reshapes the streets and occupation spreads, your decisions determine who lives and who dies.
The game is developed by Twigames, an award-winning studio founded in 2015 and based in Kyiv, Ukraine. The soundtrack features an original score by a composer from Mariupol.
