Seoul - March 13, 2026 - The classic 2D beat-em-up MMORPG Dungeon Fighter Online (DFO) returns for its 11th anniversary with celebratory in-game events and a challenging new update. This update introduces the World Boss: Contagion, along with the new out-of-this-world, ‘Galactic Voyager Package’ sale.
Dungeon Fighter Online invites players around the world into a thrilling MMORPG experience filled with action-packed raids and explorable dungeons. With lively 2D visuals and classic side-scrolling action, DFO delivers fast-paced gameplay and a wealth of character customization. Set in the fantasy world of Arad, fighters band together to explore expansive landscapes and confront the mysterious and Malefic villains that scheme for the downfall of Sunken Depths.

In celebration of Dungeon Fighter Online’s 11th Anniversary, special in-game events have been added to provide players with an abundance of new rewards:

“Celarion Survivors” Event: This year, Dungeon Fighter Online is reaching for the stars in the space-themed anniversary town, Celarion! In the roguelite “Celarion Survivors” event minigame, board your spaceship to confront galactic invaders and earn Celarion Tokens, which can be redeemed at the Anniversary Shop for high-value rewards. These rewards include +10 Equipment Amplification Scrolls, Primeval Equipment Boxes, Fusion Stone Upgrade Tickets and more.

“Celarion Resource Deep Exploration” Event: Separately, the long-sought “Epic Road” event will also return as the “Celarion Resource Deep Exploration” event and will have a three-fold structure.

Part one provides event coins that can be obtained by destroying objects in designated dungeons and clearing content with a chance to encounter a Hidden Shop upon clearing eligible dungeons, adding an extra layer of excitement to each run.

Part two introduces a special event dungeon that allows players to choose the equipment part they want to target, making their farming more focused, with bonus rewards also granted based on the number of clears.

Finally, part three ties into the Disciple of Doom dungeon clearings, allowing unwanted discovered gear to be extracted into the items players actually want, creating a more strategic and efficient path to progression.

Special Anniversary Thank-You Gift Event: As a thank-you to all players, Dungeon Fighter Online will be sharing rare rewards, including a Rare Clone Avatar Full Set Box, Gold Emblem Full Set Box, Starter Boost Capsules and a free Avatar Set! These will be immediately available upon login (no further requirements needed), so make sure to log in and claim these rewards during the event period.
Additionally, the World Boss: Contagion Update features challenging new content for players to dive into.

World Boss: Contagion: Designed for both casual participation and competitive play, players must build Contribution based on the damage dealt to the weekly rotation of World Bosses. Players must make strategic use of the Offset (counter) mechanic to create openings and boost damage to earn daily/weekly rewards through solo Normal Mode or 4-player Challenge Mode. With a rotation of 3 unique bosses and accessible reward thresholds, this new content delivers a rewarding endgame experience for every kind of Adventurer.
