São Paulo, May 2nd, 2023 – In 1972, Nolan Bushnell created Atari, a video game company that revolutionized the industry and was the starting point for the popularization of electronic games around the world. Over half a century later, the American is one of the major international guests of Brasil Game Show's 14th edition, which will be held from October 11th to 15th at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo. One of the most important figures in the history of games, Bushnell returns to the largest video game conference in Latin America to meet the Brazilian audience once again and participate in an extensive activity schedule.
On October 12th and 13th, the "father of the Atari" will participate in the event's opening ceremony, autograph sessions with the fans at BGS Meet & Greet, and BGS Talks panels. He will also be a judge for BGS Cosplay. This will be the third time that Mr. Bushnell comes to Brazil to participate in the conference, in which he participated in 2017 and 2018.

At 80 years old, Mr. Bushnell is a legendary businessman. Besides developing the Atari 2600 in 1977, a console that revolutionized games forever, the engineer has in his portfolio experiences as CEO and Director of many companies related to games and technology, and many public recognitions, such as from the Newsweek magazine, which includes him among the "50 Men That Changed America." In addition, he was immortalized by the gaming industry with his name on the "Video Game Hall of Fame" and the "Consumer Electronics Association Hall of Fame."
During his tenure at Atari Inc., Bushnell developed arcade games such as Pong, Tank, and others, and had famous employees, such as Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.
