AREA 35 Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hiroaki Yura) is pleased to announce that TINY METAL 2, the latest entry in its turn-based strategy simulation game series, will feature music by renowned game and anime composer Go Shiina, whose work on Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has earned international recognition.
Go Shiina, formerly of Bandai Namco Studios, has composed music for numerous acclaimed game and anime franchises, including the Tales of series, THE iDOLM@STER series, and the Tekken series. Now working as an independent composer, Shiina received the Best Score award at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026 in May 2026.
For TINY METAL 2, Shiina has contributed a grand orchestral piece that brings greater depth and energy to the game’s dramatic world, its story, and the characters who fight across its battlefields.
“Music is an important element of storytelling for me,” says Shiina. “In TINY METAL 2, I sought to capture the hope and determination of people who persevere in the face of harsh realities.
“I’m looking forward to the day when we can finally share this experience with all of you.”
In addition to TINY METAL 2, AREA 35 is also preparing new announcements related to the TINY METAL series at Japan Expo, taking place from July 9 - 12, 2026 in Paris, France. Stay tuned for more updates.
TINY METAL 2 is scheduled for release in spring 2027 for PC via Steam and other platforms.
