AppGallery and partners unite for the spectacular Gamescom 2023

Huawei is once again teaming up with partners to showcase AppGallery’s best gaming apps for this year’s Game Fest 2023 campaign. As part of the campaign, AppGallery will have its very own booth at Gamescom 2023, set to take place in Cologne, Germany, from 23 to 27 August. The booth will serve as a hub for attendees to experience exciting activities and be the first to receive news and updates about AppGallery’s collaborative efforts with partners. 

Exclusive discounts on AppGallery

To launch the Game Fest 2023 campaign on 15 July 2023, Huawei partnered with popular games to provide AppGallery users exclusive discounts on a first-come, first-serve basis. Discount coupons can go up to 100% off, with the highest amount of discount of up to 5€ off when users spend a minimum of 20€.

Partnering up with popular games, AppGallery offers further exclusive offers on selected games. This includes titles such as Viking Rise, The Walking Dead Survivors, World of Tanks Blitz and more. Offers range from in-game discounts, gift codes and points rebates. Users can stay up to date with the weekly giveaways and seek personal support through AppGallery’s Discord channel. With a wide range of benefits, AppGallery remains dedicated to ensuring every player can make the most of their gaming experience.  

What to expect at Gamescom 2023?

The AppGallery booth will feature a different gaming partner each day, giving them full control of the booth. These partners consist of some of the biggest names in the gaming industry including Wargaming, IGG, Com2us and more. Attendees can expect fun tournaments, Q&A sessions, and cosplay contests. Additionally, they will get a chance to catch a glimpse of the upcoming additions to AppGallery. This presents an opportunity for fans to gain unique insights into the development process and take a look behind the scenes to witness first-hand the creation of their beloved games.

World of Tanks Blitz

MS-1 is Wargaming’s premier mobile development studio behind World of Tanks Blitz. WoT Blitz team will kick off Gamescom 2023 at the AppGallery booth on 24 August 2023. The day will consist of informative Q&A sessions with the developers at Wargaming and fun game zones. They will also be present at the game zones throughout the day to meet and greet guests, sharing personal insights into the development process that went into creating such an immersive and thrilling experience. This will be a unique opportunity for players to understand more about the game’s design and mechanics.

Attendees can take part in challenges and lucky draws to stand a chance to win exciting prizes such as Huawei products, World of Tanks Blitz merch, and bonus codes. Wargaming has invited renowned gamers to showcase their exceptional skills. Additionally, attendees will get a chance to test their skills in a tournament against fellow players and even the invited gaming personalities themselves. Lords Mobile, Doomsday: Last Survivors, and Viking Rise

The booth will see a complete makeover on the second day as it features three popular titles by renowned developer, IGG.

Fans of Lords Mobile can take part in interactive mini-games and answer quizzes hosted by the developer and stand a chance to win exciting Lords Mobile merchandise or in-game codes. Players will have the opportunity to try their hand at the game by participating in an exclusive trial experience. Completion of the trial will reward players with exclusive game codes that can enhance their personal experience.

Not to be missed, IGG will also be featuring two other action-packed titles, namely Doomsday: Last Survivors and Viking Rise. Attendees will be offered the opportunity to immerse themselves in the epic worlds of the two games.

Fans of these 3 titles would have a chance to win Huawei Products by joining the Lucky Draw Activity during the session.

All the featured games will have live gameplay sessions, hosted by Appgaming. These captivating sessions will not just showcase the games in action but offer insightful commentary from experienced gaming enthusiasts.

Dragonheir: Silent Gods

Attendees of Gamescom 2023 can look forward to an exclusive opportunity for a sneak peek at the highly anticipated game, Dragonheir: Silent Gods, developed by Nuverse before its worldwide launch in September later this year on AppGallery. The booth will host the Goblin Challenge, set as a series of mini-games where players can take part in groups of threes and stand to win exciting rewards. Attendees can catch live streams of the game on the big screen, featuring invited guests, accompanied by live commentary. Those interested can even have the opportunity to try their hand at the game and test their skills. There will also be exclusive merchandise available at the booth for attendees looking to take home something special from the event.

Summoners War: Sky Arena

On the third day see the popular turn-based Role-Playing game, Summoners War: Sky Arena, take centre stage at the AppGallery booth. Attendees will be treated to an action-packed day consisting of many activations. On stage, there will be a thrilling 2vs2 ALLSTARS tournament in which the highest-ranked players of Summoners War will compete. This format is the first of its kind in Summoners War! Fans will have the chance to play with the winners of this tournament to test themselves against the best. At the booth, there will also be a cosplay contest in which two popular influencers will compete within a specific time limit to create the best outfits. The Summoners War HQ Art team will also be onsite, directly coming from Korea, to allow winners of activations to receive individual drawings of their favourite monsters.
 
Life Makeover, Madtale: Idle RPG and Dragon Raja

Cosplay enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that the AppGallery booth has prepared a series of dress-up challenges for the final day of Gamescom 2023. Archosaur Games, developer of Life Makeover will put the booth through a personal makeover of its own. Attendees can come to experience the game in real-life, physically dress up in different costumes and accessorise their outfits. There will be accompanying backdrops available for the chance to take some amazing photos and even compete to see who has the most stylish outfits.

In addition, Archosaur Games will also feature their popular idle RPG game Madtale: Idle RPG. Joining them is fellow developer Famous Heart Limited, featuring another popular MMORPG game, Dragon Raja. Attendees can experience the game for themselves at the booth, through the trial gameplay scenarios available. Stand a chance to win fantastic prizes at the end through the exciting lucky draws.

Land of Empires: Immortal

Another popular strategy game developed by Nuverse, Land of Empires: Immortal, will also make an appearance at the AppGallery booth. The highly acclaimed game amassed a loyal following by offering players an immersive experience, exploring intricately designed landscapes while having their pick at controlling 40 unique heroes. Fans of the game can take part in exclusive on-site game experiences and test their knowledge of the game during the quiz sessions. Attendees can walk away with exquisite Land of Empires merchandise only available from the AppGallery booth.
