AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands - The highly anticipated v2.0 update for Earth Analog is launching May 26th, bringing a massive expansion to the game’s scientific exploration systems, flight mechanics, and creative building tools, as well as other much requested improvements.
Key Features in v2.0:
* Base Building System – An advanced brick-based building system allows players to construct bases, outposts, etc. Advanced building techniques like SNOT construction are fully supported!
* Planetary System Study – A brand-new gameplay mechanic where players conduct scientific studies on exoplanets. Complete tasks like scanning alien vegetation or deploying atmospheric probes to unlock system secrets.
* New Ray Marching + Polygon Rendering – The game’s unique rendering engine now supports polygon meshes, bringing enhanced detail to vegetation, ships, and constructs.
* Refined Flight Mechanics – A streamlined control system, a new auto-leveling feature, and a reworked throttle replace Full Thrust mode, making planetary flight smoother and more precise.
* Volumetric Clouds - Stunning volumetric clouds bring even more depth and realism to the alien skies.
* New Dark Energy Mechanics – Dark energy will now appear in pockets you’ll need to fly through, demanding more skill and making flight feel more rewarding.
* Enhanced Radio Scanner – Now a key tool for planetary analysis and discovery.
* Expanded Ship Upgrades – Earn Expedition Points to upgrade your ship at pylons, with 50+ new ship systems and upgrades available.
* Online Discovery Database – Track and log planetary discoveries - be the first to leave your mark on the universe.
* 4K Visual Overhaul – Sharper textures and UI improvements for a more immersive experience.
