FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SAINT PAUL, MN — August 25, 2025 — Drattzy Games today announced its PAX West plans for Alterium Shift, the SNES‑inspired JRPG currently in Early Access. At Booth #750, attendees can preview fresh beta‑branch content while the studio unveils new Kickstarter add‑ons and opens Epic Edition – Late Pledge (limited to 20) for collectors. The next post‑campaign stretch goal, Companion Pets at $145,000, is now live.
New add‑ons are now available:
-
VIP Upgrade — $20: unlocks exclusive VIP digital perks at your tier, including bonus OST tracks.
-
Cooking/Alchemy Item — $80: collaborate with the devs on a lore‑friendly recipe or potion. (Ingredients can be suggested; final design approved by the team.)
-
Collectible Trading Card Set — $15: a holographic 10‑card set featuring Alterium Shift’s heroes and a couple of surprises.
Epic Edition – Late Pledge (Limit 20, $650)
Includes a physical copy (Switch, Xbox, PS4/PS5), steel case, instruction booklet, physical OST, collector’s box, three acrylic standees, maps, posters, and custom NPC collaboration content.
On the show floor
Visitors can grab free buttons and postcards, a printed comic strip flyer, and earn five unique trading cards through booth activities. Kickstarter backers who swing by can pick up a Shobii keychain, and VIPs get a full set of cards with their keychain—all while supplies last.

Play what’s new
This week’s beta branch showcases Part 1 of the next update: the revamped Fishing minigame, a wave of bug fixes, and a quest diving into Pyra’s backstory. Part 2 (post‑PAX) teases the Racing minigame, on‑map battles, and expanded world interactions. (Beta branch goes live Thursday ahead of the show.)
How your support helps (and why we’re expanding post‑campaign options)
Additional backing goes straight to the people building the game—the contractors shipping content, systems, and polish every week: Jonathan Shaw (music), Mosqi (key art), Wayne Kubiak (character designs), Hondune Games & Mark Harbaugh (systems/feature development), Galettita (UI overhaul), Agua Hervida (tilesets, NPCs, racing sprites), Spit Doll (animation), Usha Kandala’s Firebucks team (QA), and Ven (production/community). Recent updates have already highlighted this work—from the UI glow‑up to the Shobii sprite timelapse—and the new add‑ons simply give fans more ways to fuel that progress directly.
Quote (Jeff “Mottzy” Camozzi, CEO/Co‑Creator):
Backers and Early Access players are the reason Alterium Shift keeps leveling up. These add‑ons and the next stretch goal are our way of giving fans more ways to shape the adventure. Come and see what’s new at PAX!
PAX booth hours: Fri–Mon, Aug 29–Sep 1, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM PT.
