This news follows the game’s successful debut on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, where it has already earned critical acclaim and positive feedback from players. Players can already experience a slice of AWAKEN – Astral Blade in the ID@Xbox Indie Selects Demo Fest, available on Xbox platforms until September 30, 2025. This exclusive demo offers a first look at Tania’s abilities, combat style, and the dark world awaiting exploration ahead of the full console release later this year.

In AWAKEN – Astral Blade, players step into the role of Tania on her most perilous mission yet, as she uncovers the ancient, dark secrets of a long-lost civilization on the mysterious Horace Islands. This 2D action-adventure challenges players to weave their own story while mastering Tania’s speed, skills, and weapons to face deadly mutant creatures that lurk across the island.

Join a bionic girl Tania, as she is sent into the rainforests of the Horace Islands in search of a missing team of researchers. Once there, Tania discovers Karpas energy flooding through the islands, mutating the animals and plants into deadly mutants.
As she journeys deeper into the forests, Tania discovers the centuries-old remains of Jacha City, a long-lost civilization thought extinct, and with it, the former Royal Altar and ground zero of the Karpas energy source. Here Tania’s journey truly begins as she discovers ancient secrets buried deep within the ruins and she must discover the truth of the Kapras Energy and the truth of her own origins and destiny.

- Kill your enemies with a wide range of combos: from the fastest to the slowest. Parry enemy attacks to gain an advantage, use the Quick Rise ability to get back into the fight, and run at enemies as they attack to slow down the world around you and gain immunity to damage. Combos and skills will also help you get through hordes of enemies and defeat bosses.
- Control the course of the story, help Tania make decisions at crucial moments in the game and follow your own path to reveal mysteries of the past and present. Different routes can lead you to different endings. Search the Horace Islands for clues and information about the mysterious and dangerous world of AWAKEN - Astral Blade.
