JAPAN, August 30th, 2022

===== Overview =====

atrium games is pleased to announce the release of “Squid Drifter," a simple racing game with a retro 1-Bit pixel art style, for free on the App Store today, Wednesday, 30th August 2022.

Squid Drifter" is a simple-to-play racing game in which the only thing that matters is how fast the squid can drift through the course in the shortest possible time. There are no enemies or items, and the game uses a retro system similar to arcade games of the past, in which the player simply has to master timing and course taking.

We hope you will enjoy the thrill of exiting a corner with a brilliant drift without complicated controls.

Apple Game Center is supported, allowing you to compete with players around the world in time attacks.
===== Extremely simple gameplay

The squid moves forward automatically, so the player only needs to press the left and right buttons.
Each press of the left and right buttons changes the direction of the squid by 45 degrees.
===== Quick retry without stress

Squid will burst as soon as it hits a wall, but you can immediately retry again from the beginning of the course. (An advertisement will be placed after every few retries.)

===== Pleasure of attacking corners further with drifting traces

The squid leaves a trail on the course when it drifts, and you can use that trail as a guide for more aggressive cornering.
