Compare records, connect clues and restore the names of the dead in a
text-based identification mystery for Windows and macOS.
LilyCompany today announced that the Steam store page for UNKNOWN
PASSENGER 47 is now live and open for wishlists. The text-based mystery
is coming to Windows and macOS with English, Japanese, Traditional
Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Korean text support. The release date
and price will be announced later.
Already available on unityroom and itch.io, the game has recorded 60,000
page views (PV). A Japanese-language browser demo is available on
itch.io.

Yet 48 bodies are recovered from the scene.
Players take the role of an identification officer, comparing numbered
body records against passenger and crew manifests and other documents to
return a name to each person. Dental findings, surgical scars, clothing
and personal effects provide clues, but no single detail necessarily
tells the whole story. Medical inquiries, hotel records and in-flight
sales receipts are among 17 types of supporting documents that can
reveal connections and contradictions.
A desk for your deductions
Document cards can be moved and arranged freely across the workspace,
with editable sticky notes for recording theories. Players can pan and
zoom around their desk, compare evidence side by side and submit
tentative matches. Three correct matches are confirmed together.
There is no time limit and no game over for incorrect deductions. Each
body record offers three levels of hints, while automatic saving lets
players resume their investigation where they left off. Estimated
playtime is two to three hours.
