TheManPF and Zach Chapman present “Prime Cuts”, their long awaited debut album full of popular VGM

It includes arrangements from Mega Man, Metroid, Zelda, Cuphead, Hollow Knight, Pokémon, Shadow of the Colossus and Super Smash Bros.

Tijuana, Mexico.- After much anticipation, TheManPF and Zachary Chapman present their debut album: “Prime Cuts”, a compilation of video game music arrangements that serves as a “calling card” for all the VGM enthusiasts out there.

After nearly 50 entries submitted to the Dwelling of Duels competition and 20 remixes posted on OverClocked Remix, the duo has reworked and improved a sample of 10 tracks from their catalogue, representing some of the most popular video games.

The album’s opening track (“wily theme”), represents the beginning of a journey that mirrors the path of musicians and performers in the VGM scene. As is often the case, artists must collaborate and improve their skills until their music becomes noticeable by VGM fans from all over the internet. Bending genre conventions, changing time signatures, earning awards, and finding that the best part of the journey is the friends we make along the way.

If you already enjoy the music from best-selling games like Mega Man, The Legend of Zelda or Cuphead, this album is sure to blow you away. The full track list is as follows:

  2. “GFS Jukebox” from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
