Gaining over 40k players on day 1, over 100.000 players have gone on a space factory building mission already.
Since launch, the Demo quickly climbed up the Next Fest hitlist even reaching the top 10 of most played Demos with a peak concurrent playercount of over 3k players.
During the past four days of Nextfest this week, the Star Birds Demo has received an "overwhelmingly Positive" rating of 96% with over 800 Reviews to date.
Players are enjoying the satisfying gameplay machanics of building and connecting factory buildings and mining resources from asteroids. Praise is given for the 3D graphics style aswell as the story campaing and cutscenes in typical kurzgesagt vibe.
The Demo gives a first look into whats to come in the release version of the game. Players can hop into the first two story campaign levels and an additional procedurally generated bonus expedition level, that can be played over and over for a nice challenge.
As a nice bonus the Demo even has several Steam achievements that can be unlocked and players can redeem the secret code "getmug25" to unlock a special item in the main menu.
Star Birds currently sits at the #100 spot of the global Steam Wishlists with over 340k Wishlists.
An Early Access Release is planned for this year. Players can already get involved in Community Events in the Steam Community Hub or on Toukanas Discord.
