Kinakoboo has released a free Steam demo of PRINCESS VANGUARD on September 23, 2026 (Japan Standard Time). The demo is publicly available, while the full game remains in development.

PRINCESS VANGUARD is a single-player 2D top-down action game about rescuing princesses and fighting back against the Demon King's army. Players battle enemy hordes with weapon attacks and Special Skills, then learn boss patterns and read attack cues to dodge and counterattack.
DEMO CONTENT
The Chapter 1 demo introduces Eris (sword), Lilith (spear), Terra (hammer) and Mai (katana) as the story progresses. Players can try their distinct weapon styles, individual Special Skills, battles against enemy hordes and bosses with readable attack cues. The fifth princess, real-time character switching and Linked SP attacks unlock later in the full game and are not included in this demo.
