Over 200 Games on Steam Sale: Serbian Games Week

BELGRADE, September 21st - From Monday, September 21, players around the world will have the opportunity to browse, buy, or wishlist games made in Serbia. Among over 200 games, some will be heavily discounted, while others will be published soon.

The Serbian Games Association (SGA) has curated and launched Serbian Games Week, a promotion and celebration of the Serbian gaming ecosystem’s success on Steam. The sale will last from September 21st to 28th.

The list features over 200 games, the majority of which were created in Serbia, but also includes titles that will be showcased at DevGAMM FTW!, the largest event in Serbia to date dedicated to the video game industry.

"We are extremely glad to organize Serbian Games Week for the third time, and that the number of games is increasing year by year on this important platform for the promotion of our game dev ecosystem. This digital event is just another confirmation that Serbia is the most important center for the video game industry in Southeast Europe and that the enthusiasm for creating new titles is not abating," says Mihajlo Jovanović Džaril, Director of SGA.

Nine games were selected in the Editor's Choice category. Among them is Going Medieval, a simulator by the Novi Sad team Foxy Voxel and the most successful Serbian game produced for PC. The famous Wargaming title, World of Warships, can also be found on the list, as its development primarily takes place in Belgrade.
There are ten titles in the Worth the Wishlist category, led by Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival, which is scheduled for release on October 8 and is already available for pre-purchase.

The section DevGAMM FTW! Showcase includes 40 games to be presented in Belgrade on September 29 and 30.

Games made in Serbia were purchased on different platforms over 600,000 times last year, as our latest report shows. The goal of this promotion is for Serbian games to reach an even greater number of players and to put emphasis on the best core projects.

Get ready for autumn days, snuggle up with one of the games and support the development of the Serbian game dev scene!
