July 17, 2025 - Hooded Horse and Chronocle’s menacing fantasy roguelite autobattler He is Coming is here! Explore a procedurally generated fantasy world, collect magical artifacts, and prepare for the arrival of The Big Bad™ on PC via Steam Early Access and PC Game Pass.
Setting out with nothing more than a pointy stick and a death wish, players can freely explore the land (divided into two biomes) in search of loot and evil to fight, if they feel strong enough. Things get more dangerous at night, with reduced vision as the monsters actively hunt the hero to try and run them down. And on the third day, a boss will arrive, testing the will (and build) of the hero like never before. Will they live to fight another (three) days, or die trying?
Death isn’t the end – He is Coming’s roguelite meta loop allows players to unlock new items to assist in future runs, and there’s plenty more fun to be had in the alternative Kingmaker mode. This asynchronous multiplayer setup will see successful heroes live to become the villain in other players' games, with the most powerful builds being uploaded to the cloud. Players can earn crowns for successful heroes, which can be used to unlock more rewards in-game.
He is Coming’s early access period will build upon the existing foundations, with more items, monsters, biomes, and – eventually – the Demon King himself will come.
The game is localized from English into German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
He is Coming is available now on PC via Steam Early Access for $14.99 / £12.99 / €14.99 / ¥1,480.00. A 35% launch discount is available from now until July 31, 2025. It’s also available via PC Game Pass.
